This is my joyful expression of birds moving towards the sun in spring. I imagine their world as something more than what we see, a space filled with colour, movement, and quiet magic.
They carry a lightness as they fly, moving through the air as if through something soft and unseen. There is joy in that movement, in the freedom of simply being and expressing what they are.
Their song is not for anything, it just is. A reminder that joy does not need a reason.
This piece is made from leftover painted papers, colours that already existed, brought together into something new. Nothing is wasted, everything can be reimagined.
The sun has always lifted my mood. This work is an invitation to bring that same warmth from within onto your walls.
