The Horizon ─⋆⋅☆⋅⋆─

Price range: £15.00 through £90.00

This abstract seascape explores the horizon as both boundary and possibility. Layers of colour reflect shifting light across sea and sky, where edges soften and perception opens. What appears fixed begins to dissolve, inviting a sense of expansion, stillness, and the quiet idea that there is always something beyond the visible.

Description

This piece is a quiet study of the horizon, a moment that feels both real and imagined. An abstract sunrise unfolds in soft layers of colour, moving from deep blue through yellow and orange into a grounded red. It reflects those early or late hours by the sea, when the sky is constantly shifting and the boundary between water and air feels almost invisible.

There is a line we call the horizon, but it is not fixed. If you stay with it long enough, it begins to soften, to separate, to open. What first appears as a limit slowly becomes a space, something you could almost move through.

This work explores that idea. What we see as an edge may simply be where our perception stops. And beyond it, there is always more.

It is a reflection on possibility, on gently moving past the lines we have drawn, and allowing something wider to emerge.
